The purpose of this role is to identify and cultivate US-based Corporate Donors and to support and manage current Major Donors, stewarding and engaging them throughout an annual cycle.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Laboratory Associate to support the delivery of high-quality food safety testing services. This role will focus on microbiological and basic chemical analysis of food, water, and food contact surfaces to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced laboratory setting and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The Food Safety Trainee supports the implementation and day-to-day monitoring of food safety programmes within assigned kitchens and schools. Working under the guidance of the Food Safety Associate, the Trainee conducts routine inspections, monitors food safety practices, supports verification activities, and promotes compliance with established food safety standards while developing technical competency.
The Lab Trainee will undergo a structured six-month training program focused primarily on microbiological testing with exposure to selected physico-chemical analyses (aflatoxin, moisture, water quality, and visual assessments). The role is designed to build foundational lab competencies, provide hands-on experience in food safety testing, and prepare the trainee to take on an independent lab role.
As Manager, Internal Consulting, you’ll serve as the engagement owner for high-priority internal consulting projects. You’ll lead work end-to-end—from scoping and analysis through execution and handover—while mentoring Associates and Analysts who support the work.
They will lead and manage the procurement function of the Food for Education Foundation. This role ensures that procurement activities are aligned with organizational goals, cost-effective, compliant with policies and regulations, and contribute to continuous process improvement. The position will also oversee supplier management, procurement operations, and support cross-functional initiatives such as warehouse efficiency and menu re-engineering.
The primary objective of this assignment is to provide direct, high-quality facilitation and advisory support to Food for Education in developing a cohesive, actionable and costed school feeding program. The consultant will also contribute to laying the groundwork for related systems strengthening efforts in establishing a sustainable school feeding program in Dire Dawa.
You’ll be accountable for IT Support across Food4Education’s offices, warehouses, kitchens, and field operations. In this role, you’ll lead a team that delivers reliable, responsive support while continuously improving how technology enables our work. Success means creating an environment where colleagues can rely on technology to do their best work every day.
